There's something about this great big porch

we've returned to it for many years

and it's become familiar

and maybe that's why

memories flow

sentimentality takes over in waves

And again this morning...

I'm here

and all that 

has been 

is

and will be

are resonating in me all at once..

I'm full with what only a mama knows...

the days are fleeting quickly...

and I'm holding fast 

I'm breathing deep in today...

and yesterday

holding off tomorrow...

"Praise be to the LORD,

for He has heard my cry for mercy.

The LORD is my strength and my shield;

my heart trusts in Him, 

and He helps me..."

Psalm 28:6-7

Our day in the sun started out with a bike ride on the boardwalk..and then alot of this

and when we are all nicely toasted and crispy we head back to 5h and Central

 so that Justin can concoct one of his wonderful meals...

and the rest of us can do something like this

We're all on kitchen clean-up duty {that's only fair!} and then a walk on the beach and a game or two will probably round up the day.

Tomorrow will look like a little more of the above...

we're kind of predictable.
