It's official.
We're MOVING!
The thought of all the work is almost paralyzing. BUT, in the end it is a good thing. We will weed through the junk that appeared out of nowhere and start anew...decluttered. {notice how often that word appears in the list above???}
I have about a month to cross everything off that list...
the goal is by May 1st there will be one of THESE in our front yard
and shortly after, one of THESE...
and probably one of THESE....
...but maybe not in a house frock.
and shortly after, one of THESE...
In order for that to happen we'll be working like crazy around here...
sadly, I might even need to rent one of THESE
I'm just saying....I don't think we're out and out slobs, but when you really get looking at things...
I've just started, but I'm pretty sure that every night for the next few weeks I will look like THIS...

NOOOOOO!! oh, i so wanted to ride my little "side of the road" treasure of a bike down to your home! Now, I must track over the hills and through the woods....literally.
Okay:
1.) can i have your dumpster when you're done? "one persons junk is my treasure!!" :-)
2.) you have blessed my soul with your thoughtful gift. really lifted me up after a LONG day at the hospital. you are sweet & kind.
3.) do you need boxes?
i'm excited for you to move into another darling cottage....all organized and decluttered. SUCH a great feeling!!!!
I am glad the decision is made and the process begun. I will call sometime to give you a short break in the cleaning duldrums.
ANd I know I have only been here for 3+ years and am dreading the packing/cleaning process that will have to begin in about 10 months which will come faster than I am ready to deal with :)
Are you moving far? I hope it all goes well. We have moved 3 times since Sept 2001 and yes we did get rid of lot of clutter....but our attic is still full!!
Will you let me know when you have your yard sale? I would love to come check it out! My girls too!
I will surely let you know of a sale...it'll be posted here for sure! Lindsey...we're moving two miles down the street...not too far, but still involves the same amount of work!! We'll be moving into the home I grew up in...a familiar setting and somewhat comforting! We'll miss our little "cottage"...but it'll sort of be like moving back home!
Where on earth did you find that picture of me? Did you take it while I slumped down in the chair...wearing my house-frock, apron and high heels...at the end of the day yesterday?????? Not me? I am SURE I have those things in my closet!!
